Four startups - Aedifion, Nuventura, Breeze and Trueken - have just started three months accelerator program with :agile. They had better hold on tight as their :agile onboarding week was one hell of an exciting ride!
It started with getting to know each other and their :agile buddy, who will meet with them every week to challenge them and their business model and to help them stay on track. Based on the talks on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday uncovered the magic behind Business Model Canvas & Value Proposition Design, Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and Assumption Testing. Here the startups had a chance to evaluate their business models and find a fit to E.ON businesses.
Of course our startups could't get away without pitching to our E.ON experts on Thursday. Having just a few minutes, the startups grabbed their attention and did their best to convince them that their idea will change the future of energy. With lots more pitches to come during their time as part of the :agile accelerator program, pitches were followed by the first stage training, where an actor and stage coach Wladimir helped the startups to take their pitch performance to the next level.
The onboarding week was just the start of an exciting journey. Let us introduce you to the four startups, we will be working with for the next three months:
Nuventura has developed the world’s first clean, clever, and compact solution to gas insulated switchgear. It uses the air we breathe to cut costs and safeguard the climate. Free from the harmful greenhouse gas SF6, their design is more cost-effective and easier to install, monitor and maintain. The perfect combination of eco-friendly switchgear and IoT technology.
Breeze pushes the limits of environmental sensor development. Their small-scale air quality sensors can measure common pollutants like carbon and nitrogen oxides, ozone, particulate matter and many more. Their competitive price point allows for new applications like smart air quality management in your office buildings or large-scale environmental sensing in your urban environment.
Aedifion develops software tools for cloud-based processing of operational data from building automation systems. Whether in complex office or residential buildings, administrative properties or data centers, however the current system communicates, it doesn’t matter - aedifion can read it.
Trueken provides automated peer-to-peer energy management systems with hardware and distributed ledger technology. In the efforts to expand the use of renewable energy technologies, a non-traditional scheme has been implemented in which landlords can provide off grid solar energy to their tenants.
