In cooperation with the E-world trade fair, the Deutsche Energie-Agentur (dena) - the German Energy Agency - is offering entrepreneurs from the greater Berlin area the opportunity to establish contact with classic energy industry companies to present and develop new ideas in support of the energy transition. A dedicated bus will take the participants to the E-world fair in Essen for a special start-up program that will take place on 17 and 18 February.
"We need fresh business ideas for the second phase of the energy transition," emphasizes Andreas Kuhlmann, dena's Chief Executive. "The energy sector is at a turning point - this is a good time for young companies: Renewable energy poses fresh challenges for the system and digitization offers exciting possibilities for innovation. We have organized the dena start-up bus and the associated program with the aim of supporting start-ups whose business ideas contribute to the success of the energy transition. We also want to draw attention to their innovative activities. All suitable companies are invited to make use of this exceptional opportunity."
The trip will start on Wednesday morning, 17 February and end on Thursday evening, 18 February. Various events at the E-world fair have been planned as part of the start-up program, among them a panel discussion on the subject of the energy transition, the presentation of the energy app award and a meeting with investors and industry representatives.
You can still register for the dena start-up bus until the end of January!
